Massage for Infirm Elders©

Participants in this all-day course will learn the fundamentals of providing simple massage sessions to older adults living in eldercare facilities, with special focus on those living with dementia. No previous massage experience is necessary. (Massage students and professionals will be awarded 8 credit hours upon completion.)

Cynthia Bologna is a certified massage therapist and instructor who is dedicated to bringing the benefits of a compassionate touch to infirm elders and those in hospice care.

She received her massage certification in 1998 from the San Francisco School of Massage in San Francisco, California, where she now teaches. Who Are Dying©

This one-day course will teach participants how to provide a compassionate and soothing touch to clients or loved ones who are nearing the end of their lives. No previous massage experience necessary. (7 credit hours will be awarded to massage students and professionals upon completion.)
